Radon is common in Colorado. Mitigation is straightforward.

Colorado's geology pushes radon — a colorless, odorless radioactive gas — up through the soil and into homes through slab cracks, sump pits, and floor drains. The EPA action level is 4 pCi/L. When a test comes back at or above that number, a properly designed system brings it back down to a safe level and keeps it there.

What happens when you call

A simple process with no surprises on price or schedule.

1

Test

Short-term test, or we review the results you already have. If the level is high, we get to work.

2

Quote

A written, fixed price based on your foundation — not a range that grows later.

3

Install

Most homes are finished in one day. We handle the permit, the routing, and the cleanup.

4

Verify

We come back and test. The system earns its place with a number, not a promise.

Common questions

How much does a radon system cost?

Most single-family systems land in a predictable range, and your quote is fixed before we start. Complexity — foundation type, the number of suction points, and where the fan can be vented — is what moves the number. See our cost page for the details.

How long does installation take?

The large majority of homes are finished in a single day. Larger homes, crawl spaces, or homes needing more than one suction point may need a second day, and we tell you that before you book.

Will the system be loud?

A modern radon fan is quiet enough that most homeowners do not notice it from inside the house. We choose the fan and its location with noise in mind.

Does a mitigation system need maintenance?

Very little. The fan is the only moving part and typically lasts five years or more; a monitor or a periodic test confirms the system is still holding your level down.
